I am currently on F1-Visa, I am working on OPT. My husbands priority data became current and we applied for 485, EAD and Travel Documents in October. 485 is pending, Travel Document is approved and on EAD,I got an RFE saying "Service Records indicate that you have been granted EAD under Title 8, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 274a.12(c)(03) which is valid through September 25, 2012. If you wish to receive a new EAD under 8 CFR, Part 237a.12(c)(9),please return the document currently in your possession"

Qquestions

1)If I return my OPT (EAD) and move to my new EAD based on 485, if for some reason my husbands 485 has an issue, can I move back to OPT ?
2)If I decide to stay on my OPT,will it cause any problems or delays in 485 approval ?
3)Please suggest pros and cons of OPT vs EAD
