conversion of B1/B2 visitor visa to F1 student Visa
Hi
I am a Doctor from India.I am currently in India & have B1/B2 visa(10 yrs)to US since 2008 & have visited US thrice.I have NEVER overstayed NOR have done any illegal work while my stay.
My family i.e both parents & younger brother have GC since 2007,I had declared this while applying for B1 visa.
Both parents are currently in India(they have re-entry permit till 2013),they have NOT APPLIED for my GC.Bro is UG student in US.
I am planning to do master's in US(MPH).
-So how does the ABOVE FACTORS affect my chances of getting a F1 visa?
-Incase my F1 visa application is REJECTED will the embassy REVOKE my B1/B2 visa too?
-I have heard that it is possible to convert from B1/B2 visa to F1 visa while one is in US is that so or is it unlikely nowadays?IF yes can you give brief overview
