Q.

F1 to H4 change of status

Hello,

My name is Sai Korrapati. I am on F1 visa and now I would like to change my status to H4 due to some obligations.Currently I am enrolled as full time student.However I donot want to enroll for next quarter which is starting on APR 16.Can I apply for change of status within USA and can wait till the approval without going out of status or do I have to go to India or Canada to change my status.I do not want to go out of status.Please do help me.
