Q.

Travel during OPT CAP gap extension

My OPT expires on June 18, 2011. I plan to apply for H1B with premium processing by April 1, 2011. I have to travel to India to attend my weddding on June 24, 2011.
Is it possible to travel to india with an approved H1B petition and return in July 2011 and resume my current job in OPT cap gap status, since my H1B status does not start till Oct 1, 2011.
