Q.

H4 to F1

Hi,
I have exactly 35 days for my H4 to expire. I want to apply for F1 status immediately bcoz my husband wants to use his EAD.
If I apply for my F1 today and my H4 expires on Mar 15th what would be my status.
I have I20 from my college and would like to know if it is it okay to wait until I get my F1 while my H4 has expired?
