This is Pavi. Hope you remember our earlier conversation about my Post OPT denial case because of filing 5 days earlier than the 90 day period before graduation. I have re-applied for OPT on Jan 11(check got cleared) and am awaiting for the receipt. I have found a prospective employer who is interested in my profile and skills. So, i was wondering if i can volunteer to work for the company (non-paid), just to have my foot in the door. So, please clarify if i legally can volunteer while awaiting a response on OPT. Thanks.
