Q.

Paystubs needed during extended opt?

Can I work as a 'work for hire'( 1099 contractor) with an e verified company during my 17 month extended opt?
I will be travelling outside for a month during the period. Will I have to show paystubs at the port of entry? How can I handle this situation?
