Re-entry to US with old visa, new I-20 to same school
I am an F1 visa holder for a graduate program at a US university. I went to the US in August 2010, but I had to return due to an illness at home at the end of August. I was advised to defer admission to Spring. I have a multiple entry F1 visa (valid till 2014), and a new I-20, and I have transferred my SEVIS account to the new I-20. Can I travel on the existing F1 visa in January 2011 (less than 5 months from my departure from the US) along with the new I-20, or do I need a new F1 visa as well?
