Q.

MS Taxation

I am on H1b visa but was out of status for 2 months, July and August, since the company I worked for was shut down due to allegations of financial fraud. I came back to India 3 days ago. Would my return on an F1 or even an H1b(with a new job) be questioned by the visa officer, because of my "out of status" stay in the US?
Secondly, I am applying to an MS Taxation program. Would such a program raise concerns about my willingness to return to India since Taxation laws are different in each country and that program may not be of much use in India. I suppose you could compare it to studying law in the US.

Thank you,

Nikhil
