Dear Attorney,

My husband recently shifted his job and his H1 (and my H4) is being transferred (regular processing). Now, recently I got an admission from a university and I wish to change my status from H4 to F1 asap (semester starts on 17th Aug 2010). Since our transfer case is pending with USCIS I don't have the H1 approval notice (which is probably required for filing H4 to F1). I have the H1/H4 receipt notices though. Is it ok to file the COS using the receipt notices and a letter of verification from my husband's employer? Please guide
