Q.

Regarding CPT/OPT Authorization

I came to US in Spring 2007 on F1 visa to pursue my MS(Information Systems). In my first semester I got job offer from company which filed my H1B in April 2007. After completing full time F1 status for 1 semester (Spring 2007), I started working on H1B visa from Oct 2007 - Dec 2009 for the company. In Jan 2010 I returned back to pursed my remaining MS(Information Systems) from the sameuniversity. I got COS (H1B to F1). After completing Spring 2010 as full time F1 status, I am getting ajob offer from the company. I asked the School International office to issue me CPT. But they are saying that to eligible for CPT/OPT a person should be F1 for 1year. I have told them that I have maintained F1 status (One Spring 2007, other Spring 2010). Can I be eligible for CPT(I have 2 SevisNo 1 -Sp07,2-Sp10
