OPT Denial What to do next

I applied for CPT(i20) from Jan 09 to Dec 09 but as they removed me in april i reported it to my DSO and she updated my sevis record.then i took one more CPT(i20) in oct 2009 to May 2010.then i applied for my opt to start from may 2010.i received RFE on April 04 2010 that i worked for more than 12 months and they asked for justification,i have replied to that RFE with a letter from my univeristy saying that i worked only 339 and attached a copy of sevis record, but they denied my opt saying my sevis record has not been updated with shortened dates.so what should i do now?,can i apply for OPT extension(stem) without OPT?,My DSO said she can talk to USCIS only if i add her but i cant as my case got denied,so what are my options as i graduated on May 01 2010.Can anyone update my sevis now?
