Q.

Applying For OPT while I-140 is pending

Hi! Can I apply for OPT while I-140 is pending? I am on current F1 status and I checked with my DSO and my SEVIS is valid until 2011. We withdrew our I-485 filed with this I-140 and the checks were not even encashed for the I-485.
