questions regarding my VISA status
I am research scholar (single girl) and am here in USA since May 2007, on a J-1 VISA. I'm about to head back to my country, (India) for good by April 13th. Can I come back to the US as a dependent (H4) with my husband? I havent obtain a J1-waiver from Indian govt. (have a 2 year home country rule)and do i have to pay my taxes if i leave before April 15th?
