H1 expires, married to PR, COS to F1?
I just married to GC holder which has his GC since 1 month. I am on H1B and my visa expires in 2 years and I know that I will not obtain sponsorship from my employer. I would like to stay in the US until I obtain my green card through my husband (the GC holder) which should take about 5 years from now. To fill in the gap between 2 and 5 years, I would like to change to a F1 visa. Is it possible knowing that I am married to GC holder (ie immigrant intent)?
