F1 Status/OPT

Opt valid from jan 09-Jan 2010.
My employer has applied for my H1B and approved with COS effective OCt 1 2009.Employer sent revoke letter on Sept 14,2009.
I have an admit for another MS program at another university for Jan 2010 program and i will receive I20 in mid October .My F-1 was stamped for my current university valid till 2012.
Can I stay in the country until jan 2010 by transferring my SEVIS record?
Do I need to leave the country before Oct 1? What happens to my H1B petition?
How do the visa statuses get resolved?
