Q.

OPT STEM Employment

OPT valid from 12/17/2007 to 12/16/2008
OPT STEM Extension for 17 months Approved prior to getting laid off in 12/2008
Working with E-Verified new employer since 1/21/2009.
Questions:
1.Can I work on 1099
2.Can I work on profit sharing basis for the software developed by me and get paid based on profit?
3.Is it required to get paid bi-monthly with other employees of the company?
4.Can I get paid on a monthly basis?
I appreciate suggestions and precautions required to be observed under USCIS guidelines for OPT STEM Extension/employment.
