Q.

Moving to different location within same company

I filed my I-485 application two years ago and have an approved I 140. My PD is Sept 2005. I am currently on EAD and also have a valid H1B. My wife is on H4 visa; therefore I need to maintain my H1B status.
I have an offer to move in a similar job from Baltimore to New York City within the same company and in the same department.
• Do I need to file AC 21 in order to keep my GC process valid?
• Within how many days of joining the new position do I need to file AC 21 or do I need to file before I move?
• Do I need to transfer my H1B in order to keep it valid?
