Q.

Processing of your petition/application has been delayed

I recently had a SR to correct my address on my pending AOS.I also inquired about the status of my pedning AOS when I opened that SR with USCIS.Few weeks later received a mail from USCIS saying the below,
"The status of the service request is:
The processing of your petition/application has been delayed. All petitions/applications received by this Service are required to have routine security checks that are resulting in delays of the adjudication of petitions/applications. We can give no definite indication of when they will be completed. We apologise for the delay." "The address has been corrected."

What do these statements mean to me? Is there anyhting that I should follow-up or do anything.
I am under EB3-India which is active, and rcently applied a new PERM under EB2.Thanks.
