H1B extension beyond 6 years
My 6 years of H1B expires on Jan 2011. Employer A in east coast filed for PERM and I-140(EB2). Started working with employer B in west coast 3 months before the I-140 was approved in July 2008.
* Can I-140 approval from A be used to seek H1B extension beyond 2011 if I-140 is still valid and not withdrawn? How long is the extension granted for?
* If A does not revoke the I-140 and labor petition, how long is the previous I-140 approval valid for?
* Can A reuse the approved I-140 for a different employee?
* Does an employer again have to consult
Immigration attorney to withdraw/revoke
approved LC? From your experience what are
the chances that an employer withdraws
revokes approved petitions/LC?
