Impact of Divorce on Cross-Charged I-485 for Principal Applicant

Dear James,
I'm the principal applicant (my birth place: India) & my employment based GC priority date is Oct 2005. We'd submitted my & my wife's I-485 in May 2008 under cross-chargeability to Canada (wife's place of birth) when cut off date for Rest of the World was Mar 2006. I'm currently working on EAD. Unfortunately me & my spouse are thinking of a divorce. I would like to know the impact of divorce on my pending I-485. Being the principal applicant, do I risk my GC since at the first place it was applied when cut dates for India were not current, but due to my wife being canadian, we applied our cases under cross-chargeability & USCIS had accepted. Please let me know a concrete & sure answer for this keeping divorce & cross-chargeability in focus.
Appreciate all your help.
