Q.

Work visa options for Hotel Management degree holders

I have a potential match and she got her Bachelors in Catering Tech. & Culinary Arts from India and currently working as Food & Bev. Manager for reputed star hotel in Dubai. She has close to 5 years experience in hotel management.

Given her non-IT background I'm trying to find out work options in US. In hotel management field it is very difficult to find employer willing to sponsor H1. The other option I found is to go with J1 visa as a management trainee. But it has 2yrs residency req. There is a waiver but can I include her in my 485 just in case the dates are current in those 2yrs period? My Perm was filed in Feb 2009 in EB2 India category.

Please give your suggestions on visa options (like on h1 or j1 or F1 or any other options like finding business analyst jobs in IT). Thanks.
