Q.

I-485 DENIED - I HAVE L1 VISA

On January 2005 I filed I-140 form and never received response,my old lawyer said I should filed it again I filed it again on 03-07 and on march 2008 was denied it. I changed the lawyer and they sent me out of the country to apply for L1 visa again and it was approved, when I came back to USA I filed again the I-140 and I-485.The first I-140 that I filed on 2005 was approved on March 09 and the new one filed in 2008 was approved too in February 09,but the I-485 was denied based on:l1 visa was expired on 03-25-07 and I filed the I-485 on 03-20-07 and it was denied on05-05-08.The filing of your form 485 merely stops the clock and your status, but once a decision is made on your application the clock resumes, exceeding 180 days lawful status. What should I do? The new L1 is valid till Sep2010
