I-140 Approved - Waiting for I-485

My I-140 was approved in early October 2007. Both my wife and I went through the biometrics about a year and a half ago. Our I-485 application for adjustment of status was accepted by USCIS in August 2007 and we're still waiting for it to be approved. My priority date is about two weeks away and I've noticed that the dates are moving very slowly at the Texas Service Center where our case is currently pending. I have several questions regarding my case (which is an EB3 based case):
1. Will USCIS call us in for an interview? Is it likely or not at this point?
2. At this point are we just waiting to receive our approval or are there any additional steps which we might have to take?
3. How long do you think it'll take USCIS to respond to us?
4. Can USCIS deny our case at this late point?
