Q.

H1 to EAD

Hi,
I am currently on 7yr of my h1 B and it expires on june 2010. I-485 received by INS on Aug 2007 and I-140 was approved July 2006. Priority date is Jan 2006.
My question is
1)if my current employer revokes my H1 B then what are the best options for me?
2) If I don't get job on EAD then how long can I stay without payroll to maintain AOS pending status and EAD, will it impact me and family (2 kids aged 12 nd 13yrs) in anyway? Will it be safe for me and family travel using AP in this situation?

3)If I plan to use EAD what formalities i need to do?
4) If I need to work on EAD , what are the things I need to take care, what I need to make sure about job description?

6) After working on EAD ,can I go back to H1 B?

Please advice and I appreciate your efforts.
