Q.

part-time work on ead

Hi!

I work as an H1 engineer full time & have had my EAD for about 2 years now & my Green Card application is still pending. I've just been admitted to a full-time business school program.

1) Can I CHANGE my full-time work position to a PART-TIME-ONLY position for my current employer and study full-time at business school? Is part-time-only work allowed on an EAD & enough to continue my Green Card application?

2) If I do as described in 1) above but get laid-off during the school term, which effectively cancels my GC application, can I then get an F1 visa to continue my studies?

3) If my interview date comes while I am working part-time and studying full-time, is it wise to harp on that information to the USCIS interviewing officer? And is this status valid.

Thanks!
