Applied 485 for myself and spouse. Jan 10th online status: Card/ Document Production. Jan 16th received 797(Approval Notice postal mail.Current status online shows CPO (card was mailed on Jan 12th). I called multiple times and asked for tracking number and was told card was destroyed on 23Jan because it did not meet specifications. New card not produced yet and to call back Feb8. I had received ead/ap combo card earlier in Nov for myself and spouse. My spouse 485 status in still in Initial Review. What is my current status ? Does 485 approval mean Permanent Resident?Have travel plans(3 months), what can I do for proof of status? What do I need to do to have the card produced again and receive as fast as possible? Am I eligible to work on H1B as I am not using EAD and working on H1B?
