Q.

Old Employer on I-94

I came to us in 2005 with Company X and then changed my employer to Company Y. i Went to india in 2006, then came back to US with same X visa. In POE, the officer didn't ask anything about my current employer and i also didn't inform about the change of my employer . so the I-94 had my old employer name. After reading through some articles, i found i did a big mistake. I must have informed about my employer change. I am currently filing for Green card. Did i made out of status myself. After this incident i went to india again and had no issues. Infact i am working with fourth employer now(changed h1 b 2 times after) and travelled 2 times to india after that. I am filing for I-485 now. Will this I-94 have any impact. Can i go to CBE office and change employer name on I-94 .
