Q.

I485 Filed & spouseH1B

I have filed I485 3 weeks back for myself and my wife.I am the primary applicant for I485. My Wife is on H1b and her company is announcing layoffs in next week.Does filing I485 take care of her lawful status even though she gets laid off? If she gets laid off do we need to apply for her H4 Status? She has her current I94 valid till September 2012.
