Q.

EAD Renewal and travel

My wife's and my EAD expire in August of this year and plan to apply for renewal in April. Meanwhile we have an impending trip to make to India and will be back in July. My wife plans to leave in April and myself in June. Can this be done while the EAD application is in process while using an valid AP to travel abroad?
