Q.

Relevance of degree for EB2

Graduated with a 4 year degree from INDIA (BSC in Agri. Sci.) not related to my current job or proposed EB2/H1b Job.
12 years IT industry experience (11 years in UK). Indian born, British Citizen. A company is ready to sponsor EB2/H1b in IT field
H1B appl. approved in 2003, didnot apply for visa. My plan is to settle in USA, so Green card is very important

1) Am I eligible for EB2 with the above profile? ( 4 year degree + > 5 years experience)? Main concern is that my degree is not related to my current work.
2) EB2 application.
a) Is it possible to apply for EB2 without me coming to US on H1b?
b) Is it better to apply for EB2 once I am on H1b in US?
c) Assuming I applied for EB2 before coming to US on H1b, Is this going to have an impact on my H1b processing?
