Q.

EB3 to EB2 porting docs

My current immigration status,
1. I am currently on 9th year of H1B stamped, expiring in 07/2013
2. I only have photocopy of my approved EB3 I-140 (I-797C). I do not have PERM docs.
My questions,
1.What documents do I need to transfer my H1B (9th year) from my current to future employer?
2.To port my current EB3 (with priority date 09/2007) with employer A to EB2 with employer B, what documents (original or copy) do I exactly need from my current employer before I leave? Please kindly be specific.
3.My I-140 approval notice copy is "I-797C, Notice of Action", can I use this copy to port my EB3 priority date to EB2?
I heard that I797C forms are just courtesy copies and cannot be used as an official notification. Is this true? The I797C copy I have does not state as a courtesy copy.
