Q.

I-140 portability and moving to EB2 category

I came to US in Sep06 on H1B visa with Company A.Then,I moved to Company B and have an approved I140 EB3 Priority Date March08.Then I moved to Company C and have an approved H1B till 07/13.Now through Company C, I have a new approved PERM but my I140 EB3(with a request to port old Pri Dt Mar08)is yet to be approved.I'd like to find a new job opportunity where I can qualify for EB2 category.
Should I wait for my I140 approval through Company C?
Will my old I140 (from Company B) would be still valid to get a new H1B extension of 3 years through a new company?
Is there a time limit before I need to have new PERM filed through this new company?
Can my EB3 I140 priority date ported to new EB2 I-140?
What are the things I should take into consideration when I accept new EB2 opportunity?
