Q.

Birth Certificate RFE on 485

I received an RFE on Birth Certificate. RFE says submit BC and affidavits. I submitte BC when I filed 485 but the BC had only first names of my parents and also both my parents names were misspelled.
The problem is with father's first name. I have put in his first name in forms 485 and G325A as "Markandeya" but in my passport it is "Markandaya" and the latter one is correct. I am going to get a new BC and two affidavits with the name as "Markandaya". The original BC had "Markandaiah"
1. Can I inform USCIS that I made a mistake in the names in 485 and G325A forms along with the response for RFE? Does this voluntary acceptance of mistake create any problem?
OR
2. Should I just go ahead and submit the BC and affidavit with correct name and forget about informing USCIS about the mistake?
