Q.

Last Entry Date I-485

I am about to apply for I-485. My i-94 date is 08/12/2010. I went to canada on 05/20/2011 and came back within 5 days on 05/25/2011.
US CBP just look at my documents and allowed me to enter USA without issuing a new I94 and without stamping the passport. It seems it is a normal practice under Automatic Revalidation.

As per my lawyer i need to put the last entry date as the date when i came back from canada and not I94 date. He asked me to prepare an afidavit to explain the entire thing.

Do u see any risk with this? what are chance of I484 getting denied? do i have to put any other seconday evidence of my presence in canada and in usa?

cheers
