Hi,
My employer has filed I-485, EAD & AP for me & my spouse. My Priority Date is 01/16/2008 and CIS received our I-485 packet on 12/09/2011.
We have not received the receipts yet.

I'm currently working on H1B status extended till Mar-2013. My wife is on H4 status. We don't have valid visa on our passport, since we got our status extended recently which was approved with I-94 attached.
My mother expired yesterday and we need to understand the consequences of travel Outside US & Return to US in the scenario explained above.

a) Can we request expedite Advance Parole processing, by taking INFO PASS appointment?
b) What happens to our I-485, if we leave US before AP is approved? Is it considered abandoned?
c) Can we travel after getting Receipts & before approval? Plz advice?
