Q.

EB3 to EB2

My Current EB3 priority date is Jan 26, 2009. I am planning to transfer my H1B to company who is in consulting business and start my Green Card in EB2.My H1B 6 Years validity expires on Sept 30, 2012. Current H1B valid till March 2014 based on I-140 approval. Will I get 3 year extension with new employer based on old employer approved I-140? Are there any potential risks involved in porting EB3 I-140 to EB2 I-140 with new employer? My current employer confirmed that he is going to revoke my H1B within 30 days after I leave the company,he confirmed that he is not going to revoke my I-140. Please confirm list of documents that I need from my current employer to port EB3 priority date to EB2 date. How soon can new employer start Greencard process?
