I have I140 Eb2-India approved for Oct 2008. At this time , I am contemplating to whether file for I485 with old employer or not . I left my old employer around 1 year back and my new employer will file for GC in Eb2 around mid of next year (2012).I am hopeful that my last employer will provide me a letter to file 1-485 .

1)I am not sure if my employer has canceled my H1b after I left him. Will it a problem ?
2) My current salary with new employer most probably is more than what would be on my GC application . Can this be a problem?

Is there any issue for filling I485 with old employer?. I just want to avoid going through gathering experience letter again for new job.

Please advise.
