EB1b 140 approved. 485 request for proof of legal status during the last three years. Had two jobs in the last three years. 01/01/08-08/31/09: first job. The new company applied H1b on 08/25/09 and got receipt on 08/26/09, then I left the old company on 08/31/09 and started working for new company on 09/08/09. Will I be treated as out of status during 09/01/09 to 09/07/09? Is 7 day gap fine? Are there any USCIS regulation about this? Does 485 allow for some out of status days? Are there any regulation about that?
