I am unable to find the H-1B approval notice for a consulting company that I worked for from Jul 4,2005 to Sep 30,2005 (3 months).Is there anything I can do to obtain a copy of the H-1B notice from USCIS? The company is no longer existent and the HR person's email that I tried to email did not work. They never sent me the LCA or anything back then and I did not realize that I will need it today.
Will this be a problem for the I-485 stage(EB2-India)? Is there anything we can do to avoid problems? I have the pay stubs, W-2, tax documents and the work experience letter to prove my work over there. I researched online and found I-824 form on the USCIS website but I am not sure if that will help as I don't have the the approval/notice number that is needed.
