Q.

I-140 and I-485 applications

I have my PERM and I-140 application approved from my previous employer. My PD is 09/11/2007/EB2.I switched to new company in May'2011.I got approved PERM from new employer and they filed my I-140 in PP on 10/14/11 and the notice date is same.Received RFE on 10/19/11,asking to produce ability of employer to pay the salary and clear about discrepancy in placement of employee. My current employer always wanted to extend my I140 application, and wanted to send 140 and 485 together in nov'11.In fact i have insisted for PP.now they are not replying to my RFE.they just want to send my 485 application on 1st nov'11.I want to know, why they want to send my 485 without my 140 approval? How this will affect my whole green card process and what steps should I take to keep whole process on right track?
