I-485 Withdrawn but Got a Letter from the USCIS that it is lost

Hi! My husband and I filed an I-485 petition last year but we withdrew it because we had a problem with our I-140 (the approved it and then revoked it because my work experience fell short). We were able to successfully withdraw the application and we got a confirmation of withdrawal. More than a year later, we got a letter that my husband's I-485 file is missing. USCIS said that we can send another application if we DESIRE. We are going home in about 6 months since our H1 visas are expiring already and we have no intention of filing another application or staying in the US. Should we just ignore the letter or write to them and tell them that we have withdrawn our application last year already?
