Hi, I am currently on EAD/Parole status having applied for GC in Sep-2005 under EB3 category in Pittsburgh, PA. I work as Web Developer 2(software) and my current salary in 80,000/year. I asked my company to file for my immigration under EB2 category so that I can port from EB3 to EB2, but they came back saying that it can't be done because my salary is lower than the prevailing wages for EB2. Is this correct? Can you share what is the minimum salary requirement for EB2?Can you suggest what is the alternative for me to file under EB2 category?
