I am from India and my I-140 is approved and waiting for my priority date to become current i.e. 03/2009. However my wife is born in Saudi Arabia and I am trying to file I-485 thru cross chargeability but unfortunately her passport has place of birth as India however I have her Birth certificate issued by Riyadh hospital that shows she is born in Saudi.

Now I need to know if I require to get the passport corrected to apply under cross-chargeability or I can use her birth certificate w/o correcting her passport and still go for I-485 under cross chargeability.

In case my employer is not willing to apply (he is kind of cheap person) then can you take my case..I took advise from u before and I know you are very well capable.
