Q.

Transfer Of Old Priority Date

My Priority Date is June 25th 2007 filed by Company A.

My 140 was approved in May 2008.

The company “A” was sold to another company “B” , new company “B” started PERM labor in 2009.

Company “B” was acquired by another company “C” in 2010.

I changed job and am working with new company “D”.

As there were two mergers after my 140 was approved and I changed job last year, is it possible to recapture old Priority Date?

If its not possible to recapture date with current Employer?
Is it better to go back and work with Company "C" (Successor) and file my Perm Residency with them.
