Q.

Follow to Join Process for Kid

My EB2-India will become current on Oct1st. I am using EAD and My 485 is already preadjudicated. My 2yr old kid is in US without status from Feb2011(his H4 was expired in Feb2011). Can I apply I-824 for him on Oct 1st? Or I need to wait till my 485 case is approved? What are the options I have at this moment. How long consular processing takes place?
