Hi,
I worked as a researcher on J-1 from May 2006 till May 2011, I've never been out of status or done anything illegal.
1. I-140 (EB-2) approved on August, 19th, 2011.
2. I-485 (self-petitioning) is pending
3. Applied for expedite Advance Parole (I-131) in April 2011 and left US because of emergent family reasons in May 2011.
4. I-131 was approved AFTER I left (in August), so I got I-512L (Auth. for Parole) one week ago.
5. Received appointment for Biometrics in US in mid-September.

Can I safely enter the US for Biometrics (and ultimately get GC), given the AP decision was made after I left? If not, should I rather switch to Consular Processing or you could kindly suggest other options?
