Cross-Chargeability
I am starting my sixth year of H1B on Sept 12th 2011, my employer has agreed to start the green card process but they think its too late to start the process (in time to get my H1B extended). Do I still have time to get I-140 approved before Sept 2012?
My(Primary applicant) country of birth is India but my wife is born in Kuwait ( but citizenship is India). Can I claim her country of birth (Cross-chargeability) in my application? Will this speed up the process?
