Q.

Thinking of moving back to work with a previous employer

My situation when I left employer A in Jan 2010 to work with employer B.
1) Did have my passport stamped with H-1B visa valid until Feb 2013 from employer A
2) Had my I-140 approved from employer A

Thinking of moving back with employer A and question I have -
1) Can they use the prior approved I-140 and progress OR will they be required to start the GC process all-over? (assuming they haven't withdrawn the I-140 petition)
2) Similar question on the H-1B as I have it valid under employer A name until Feb 2013

Not sure if it's relevant to my question, but the position I am looking to go back with employer A will be the exact same designation held when I was employed with them couple years ago.
