Q.

Spouse GC Application as Dependent

I am an Indian national with an EB-2 PD of May 21, 2007. I got married after filing my I-485. My wife was previously on F-1, and then OPT, before becoming my dependent (H-4) as part of my H-1B. Currently she is on an H-1B visa, working full-time. My question is:
1) I understand that we can file her GC (as part of my application) when my PD becomes current. Correct?
2) What is the typical time frame to get her GC approval as part of her spouse's application?
3) After PD (May 21, 2007) becomes current, what is the typical time frame to get my GC approval (primary applicant)
4) I want to be well prepared to file my wife’s application. Can she take the medical exam before my PD becomes current?
5) Are there any other traps / items I need to be aware of regarding my wife’s green GC?
